At our annual event, Internet Archive founder, Brewster Kahle, unveiled a new direction for the organization: “Building Libraries Together.” We are building next generation tools that will enable people and communities to build libraries with us.
Some 500 guests came to Internet Archive headquarters in San Francisco for hands-on demos of our tools and more. The evening began with music by the New Disciples of Blue Grass, playing selections all available at archive.org. Emcee, Jason Scott, the led us through an evening of presentations, including:
